GEAR RATIO OPTIONS

We offer 3 different final drive options for your EVO-4/9 5 speed transmission.  The final drive gearing is currently available for the 5 speed only. 

The 4.11 final drive is 10% taller than the OEM final drive and it's a good choice for a 2 liter engine making over 350ft.lbs of torque.

The 3.73 final drive gearset is 17% taller than the OEM final drive and is intended for stroker motor EVOs that are not required to rev to the moon and are making more than 425ft.lbs of torque.  Our personal choice for the 3.73 final drive gearset would be a stroker engine with a GT35R turbo with the EVO-9 short 3rd-5th gears.

The 3.84 has been discontinued being that you can run the EVO-9 short 3rd -4th gears and get about the same speeds.

Listed below is a table showing your gear ratio options.  Remember, you can pick and choose the gearing to best suit your engine's powerband and rev range.  Tire diameter will also effect overall speed in each gear and you can custom tailor your overall speed in each gear by using larger or smaller diameter tires. The table below shows speeds in each gear with the OEM tire diameter of 25.7"
