EVOLUTION 6 speed corrects the common problems experienced with this
transmission. This transmission service includes high intensity shot
peening of the gearset to increase the durability of the narrower gears that
are found in this transmission. We eliminate the lubrication problems by
adding more oil passage ways to critical components. It is specially built and features
gear detail work to the lead edge and root diameter of the gear teeth which
allows the gearsets to handle higher torque without failure.
Hubs, sleeves, shift rails and shift assembly are polished for silky smooth shifting.
