RIPGRIP

What is a RIPGRIP?  It's the infamous limit slip insert thingy for your transfer case's open-style front differential, designed to provide increased traction to both front wheels. CNC machined in the USA from tool steel it has the heavy duty springs and it has been tested up to 700HP.

SHOT PEENING SERVICE

Shot peening is a cold metal working post process which is done to the gears to make them tougher and last longer. As the shot strikes the gear it peens the surface, leaving  small indentations or dimples. Overlapping dimples develop an even layer of metal in residual compressive stress. This is a good thing for it is well known that cracks will not initiate or propagate in a compressively stressed zone, such as the root radius of the gear teeth.  Rule of thumb: shot peened gears generally act like they are 20% larger in cross section and will hold up to high torque much better than gears that aren't shot peened. Think about it, why are connecting rods shot peened? Answer: because it works! Search the internet for shot peening and you'll see why we bought our own equipment and recommend it over Cryogenic or REM when it comes to making gears last longer. MITSUBISHI HELICAL LIMITED SLIP FRONT DIFFERENTIAL

This MITSUBISHI HELICAL front limited slip is designed to provide increased traction, ultimately keeping the front end of the car on track where you have the steering wheel pointed. This is an absolute must for the EVO that drag races, road or rally.  Installation is easy and it can be installed without removing the transfer case in less than an 2 hours with simple hand tools.  No shimming required, simple drop-in.
