STAGE 1 TRANSFER CASE

(with powdered metal spider gearset front diff)

A factory new transfer case with the standard "open" front differential. The spider gears are the OEM powdered metal croutons.  Mesh zone of the ring & pinion and bearing preloads are adjusted for high torque applications.

2003/2004 EVO-8  TRANSFER CASE

(with forged spider gearset front diff)

A  factory new transfer case but we replace the weak powdered metal spider gearset with stronger forged spider gearset. The main housing is CNC machined to accept the  larger  M10 side cover bolts to hold things in place. A Neodymium magnet is installed to keep the oil clean.  Afterwards the mesh zone of the ring & pinion and bearing preloads are adjusted for high torque applications.

Includes:

  • Shot peening of the ring gear & pinion gearset

  • Shot peened forged front differential gearset

  • RIPGRIP limited slip thing

  • M10 bolt kit

  • Neodymium magnet

  • Mesh zone of the ring & pinion and bearing preloads are adjusted for high torque applications

2003/2004 EVO-8  TRANSFER CASE

(with limited slip front diff)

This factory new transfer case features the RA/RS helical limited slip front differential that has had the outer housing gone over and shot peened for improved durability. The ring gear is shotpeened and the main housing is CNC machined to accept the  larger  M10 side cover bolts to hold things in place. A Neodymium magnet is installed to keep the oil clean.  Afterwards the mesh zone of the ring & pinion and bearing preloads are adjusted for high torque applications.

Includes:

  • RA/RS helical limited slip front differential

  • Shot peening of the ring gear & pinion gearset

  • Shot peening of the limited slip front diff outer housing

  • M10 bolt kit

  • Neodymium magnet

  • Mesh zone of the ring & pinion and bearing preloads are adjusted for high torque applications

2005/2006 EVO-8/9 TRANSFER CASE

(with active center differential)

This factory new ACD transfer case features the ACD clutch pack instead of a viscous coupling. The front differential is the RA/RS helical limited slip front differential that has had the outer housing gone over and shot peened for improved durability. The ring gear is shotpeened and the main housing is CNC machined to accept the  larger  M10 side cover bolts to hold things in place. A Neodymium magnet is installed to keep the oil clean.  Afterwards the mesh zone of the ring & pinion and bearing preloads are adjusted for high torque applications.
