EVOLUTION-8/9 STAGE 2.5 EXCHANGE SERVICE

We stock our popular EVO-8/9 STAGE 2.5 EXCHANGE transmission for the 2003-2007 Mitsubishi EVOLUTION.  This transmission is built with  all new gearing, be sure to shop around and make sure you compare all the options and the parts replaced as you will not find a better built transmission.

Features:

  • This transmission is fully blueprinted and can handle higher torque without failure.  

  • High Intensity Shot Peening of both the gearset and shift rail ends for increased durability.

  • High rpm shifts are not a problem because the engagement teeth are modified to increase the window of opportunity. With the proper clutch this transmission will shift well above 9500 rpm.

  • Oil passageways are enlarged to deliver more oil to critical parts, excellent for road racing.

  • Oiling upgrade that promotes longer transmission life, a TRE exclusive.

  • This transmission will also fit the EVO 4 through 9, an excellent upgrade for the older EVOLUTIONS.

  • The fatigue limit is conservatively rated @ 425ft.lbs of torque yet this transmission has proven to withstand 650ft.lbs without failure, making them ideal for high torque stroker engine applications.

  • This is the same transmission that Street Tuned Motorsports has been using in their 8 second EVO.

NEW EVO-9 4.53 final drive output shaft & gear (4.11 or 3.73 ratio is optional)
