FWD STAGE 2 EXCHANGE

Stage 3 EXCHANGE is a full race transmission that maximizes the torque capacity of the transmission to its design/material limits. Nothing is spared; you are getting the best of the best and you will not find a better transmission rebuild, period. All parts are replaced with new parts; all new shafts, all new gears, all new bearings... the only thing not included in this rebuild is the transmission case and front diff housing. If you trashed your FWD really bad just get it built as a STAGE 3. We improve the durability & service life of the transmission in several ways; gear detail work done to the lead edge and root diameter of the gear teeth which allows the gearsets to handle higher torque without failure. Afterwards, the entire gearset receives high intensity shot peening to raise the ultimate strength of the gearset, increasing fatigue resistance by over 20-25% while reducing gear wear. High rpm shifts are not a problem because the engagement teeth are modified to increase the window of opportunity.
