The STAGE
2 REBUILD features
gear
detail work
and high intensity shot peening to raise the ultimate strength of the
gearset,
increasing fatigue resistance by over 20-25% while reducing gear wear.
Oil passageways are enlarged to improve oiling to the critical parts.
The transmission also receives other crowd pleasers such as a new
modified double synchro 2nd gear, high tension synchro springs and the tough
3rd/4th shift fork

We are replacing 1st gear & input shaft as standard in this rebuild because
most of the time they are worn.
